AlternativeFuelings.com was started by a husband and wife team. We joined the Optavia diet program in December of 2020, and quickly found out that we could not both afford to be on the program due to the price of the fuelings (almost $800 per month!)

So she stayed on the plan, and he started looking for cheaper fueling alternatives that were just as convenient and around the same calories. And they both continued to lose weight.

He thought maybe others would have trouble finding the cheaper fueling alternatives, so he created this site to share the cheaper fuelings with others on their weight loss journey.
